What has been a landmark on Camp Bowie in Fort Worth, Texas for the past 52 years is coming down after the Dunlap Company closed it’s doors after 117 years in operation. The building used to house an advertising and art department back in it’s heyday, and I got to tour it a couple of times. It still had much of the old equipment, tools, sketches and art laying around. It’s easy to forget the hands-on technical skills that used to be required. I could imagine all of the activity that went on there not all that long ago… It was very cool and nostalgic as well.
